For Elizabeth's first Christmas, the family traveled to Alaska to be with Misty's family. Alaska around Christmas is cold and dark, but we had a great time regardless! Elizabeth was told that Santa brings you more presents when you are in Alaska for Christmas because he doesn't have to haul them as far. Santa brought her a play gym, that she loves. We just call it the FUN DOME! We got back to Idaho in time for New Year's Eve where we opened presents with Pete's family and rang in the New Year at Chris's New Year's Bash (coordinated by Casey).
